Project Overview
Smart Connect by H&L is an all-in-one mobile companion app built for iOS and Android platforms that allows users to connect and manage multiple smart wearable devices—including smart watches, smart rings, smart glasses, and TWS earbuds. Designed with modern UI principles and robust backend architecture, the app seamlessly syncs data and enables real-time device management from a single interface.
Challenge
The biggest challenge was creating a unified ecosystem that could handle a wide range of smart devices with different communication protocols and data structures. From Bluetooth pairing to background data synchronization, the app needed to be device-agnostic, scalable, and intuitive for users switching between wearables.
Research
We performed deep technical audits and user interviews to identify common frustrations in existing wearable apps. Our research revealed that users wanted a centralized interface with fast pairing, minimal battery drain, and real-time feedback across devices. The insights helped us craft wireframes that minimized cognitive load and improved task completion speed.
